About the TLTC Dean's Fellowship
A review panel of Liberal Arts faculty selects a Dean's Fellow candidate for final approval by the Dean of Liberal Arts. Proposals for the fellowship must primarily benefit foreign language courses in the College of Liberal Arts at The University of Texas at Austin. In particular, projects must be of direct benefit to students enrolled in foreign language classes.
As with all Dean's Fellows, the faculty member will receive course relief for one semester. In addition, the TLTC Dean's Fellow will be eligible to apply for funding for student assistants, computer equipment, and other project expenses (including summer support) through the annual Liberal Arts technology grant program.
In addition to the regular rules and regulations that apply to all Dean's Fellowships, the TLTC Dean's Fellow must agree to participate in the Center's various public fora, including the presentation of the proposed project as part of the Center's Lecture Series.
